There are no gears to shift and you will glide around at 18-20 mph on flat ground without any pedaling.
Pedaling to take off and on hills will extend the range. Once you twist the throttle, you just ride along without having to pedal on level ground.
When you pedal your electric bike, the pedal assist kicks in. You can twist the throttle at any time and just keep going on level ground without pedaling.
Our 250 watt electric bike motor is more powerful than most similar electric bikes.
